आकाशवाणी सिडनीची संक्षिप्त माहिती :

आकाशवाणी सिडनी गेली १९ वर्षे कार्यान्वित आहे. आकाशवाणीचा मुख्य उद्देश मराठी रसिकांचे मनोरंजन करणे. राजकीय, सामाजिक आणि वैचारिक विषय आपल्यापुढे मांडताना महत्वपूर्ण घडामोडींचा चा परामर्ष घेत सिडनीतील अनेक जणांनी आपले कार्यक्रम सादर केले आहेत.
आकाशवाणी सिडनी ने स्थानिक मराठी लोकांना एक व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून दिले आहे. हा अनेक वर्षांचा प्रवास सुखकर झाला याचे कारण आपण दिलेला आपला वेळ मग तो पेनेल ऑपरेटर किंवा कार्यक्रमाचे सादरीकरण किंवा व्यवस्थापन या माध्यमातून देऊन या कार्याला मोठा हातभार लावला हे नक्कीच. हा प्रकल्प चालवताना आर्थिक प्रश्न हि तितकाच महत्वाचा होता आणि तो अखंडित पणे आपणापैकी अनेकजणांनी सोडविण्यास मदत केली.

Hi all,
I have been conducting this Free Leadership Program for last five years and had overwhelming response with a lot of positive feedback. Many have benefitted from attending this, by progressing in their career and by managing their day-to-day stress level. Attached please find some feedback from previous attendees. So this is your opportunity!!
I am pleased to advise that intake for 2017 will begin soon. The course will commence on 30th April, 2017 Sunday, in Revesby.
Following are the details:
I have retired after a long career of 35+ years in a number of organisations, mostly in Finance sector, working in IT, at various levels. This provided me a number of opportunities to learn the corporate culture in those organisations, to train in a variety of interpersonal skills, organisational issues, management methodologies etc.
One of my key observations during my career is the amount of stress that people go thru during various work situations, and how that affects people’s career. In general, with the uncertainties in the job markets, stiff competition, we are likely to find ourselves in more stressful situations, both at home and work.
Keeping this in mind, to prepare our Young Generation and people looking to move up the corporate ladder, I have devised a Training Program ‘To Successfully Manage Career and Develop Leadership Skills’, which will cover the following:

• Holistic approach to Career and Life.
• Simple techniques to manage stress
• How to avoid stressful situations
• Corporate cultures and what is expected
• How to up-skill to stay competitive
• Attitude to life and how it affects career
• How to differentiate ourselves
• Attending, Managing and conducting meetings
• Management methodologies, techniques and tools
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Interview Techniques and Resume Preparation
• Managing interactions at work
• Career Management and progression, tools.
• The program will be based on Case Studies
• There will also be Guest Lectures

The Program is aimed at those who are in their early years of working career and aspiring to achieve Leadership Positions.The Program is general in nature and not specific to any industry.We had participants in the past from various industries.

The Format:
• The Program will consist of around 9 sessions, 3 hours each, mostly on Sundays. So it will run from 30th April to 25th June, and may extend by another week. So please allow some flexibility.
• There will be Guest Speakers( about 3 to 4), from various industries. These sessions will be on Saturdays
• All sessions will be from 4pm to 7.30 pm
• The Program will be based on Case Studies and some work will be required by participants
• The Program will be conducted in Revesby, in a well equipped Conference Facility.
• Audio Visual Presentations and Discussion based approach.
• Maximum participants:15
• Fees: Nil, I am offering this to share my experiences widely so that the community can benefit.

Eligibility:
• Open to all those who are aspiring to achieve leadership position and manage successful career progression.
• Open to people from all communities.
• Commitment to attend all the sessions is important as the seats are limited and we expect large number of interested candidates.
• If you are working in shifts or unable to attend on weekends, due to work or other commitments, this program may not be suitable to you.
